Our Mission & Philosophy

Carolina Animal Hospital's mission is to deliver comprehensive care to your family pet along with superior client service to you.

Our mission is rooted in the basic practice philosophies at CAH. As highly trained Veterinary Medical Professionals, we seek to offer individualized care with preventative medicine recommendations, illness and injury treatments tailored to the specific needs of the patient.  At Carolina Animal Hospital, we feel strongly that our clients have advanced care options discussed with them so they may make an informed decision on the care plan they choose for their pet.

Our practice also believes in giving back to our community. We support our community through organized Community Service Programs focused specifically animal related endeavors including the Granville County Animal Shelter, the Granville County Sheriff's Canine Units and the Guide Dog for the Blind Foundation. 

Our Healthcare Team

Our veterinarians are experienced professionals who practice medicine and surgery with compassion and understanding. We focus the efforts of our thoroughly trained healthcare team on each patient allowing us to make recommendations tailored to their individual needs. Each Doctor and staff member has a short biography in the "Our Doctors" or "Our Staff" section.

Our Practice

Our practice facility opened in the summer of 2006 and occupies just over thirty-two hundred square feet. Our hospital contains a spacious reception lobby and client waiting area, four examination rooms including an emergency triage space, an in-house pharmacy, in-house laboratory, a ICU and large treatment area, an isolation room for hospitalization and treatment of patients with highly contagious illness, a radiology imaging suite and surgical suite.

In addition to our own in-house capabilities, we maintain professional working relationships with top diagnostic laboratories, board certified referral specialists and emergency and critical care facilities. We draw upon these relationships to enable us to extend the highest quality of cutting edge surgical and medical science to our patients.
