Preventative Care Clinics At Carolina Animal Hospital
A Lower Fee Option For "Routine" Health Care
Wednesday Mornings 8:00 A - 11:00A
In an effort to help out pet owners who may have fallen behind on their pet's basic preventative care due to the economy in the past couple of years, Carolina Animal Hospital of Creedmoor holds lower fee Veterinary Preventative Care Clinics (PCC) on Wednesday Mornings between the hours of 8 AM - 11:00 AM.
We are thinking of it sort of as an "Amnesty Day" to help get your pet(s) caught up on currently due / past or overdue preventative care services. The Preventative Care Clinic offers basic preventative health care (Vaccination Boosters, Parasite Screening and Prevention Medications) in a simple, fast and lower cost package.
Walk-ins are welcome for the PCCs -- however Appointments are recommended as space (time) is limited and those with appointments will be taken as priority. Please call to register your pet ASAP.

Is A 'Basic' Physical Exam Necessary? Why can't we just get the shots or tests?
A Preventative Care Examination of your pet will be performed (required and billed) as part of any service provided - This is not only 'good medicine' to enhance the medical care of your pet, but a necessary step in establishing a Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship as required by the North Carolina Veterinary Practice Act. In addition to being in the best interest of your pet, we also wish to remain in compliance with our licensing regulations. The Preventative Care Examination is a basic health exam to evaluate if your pet appears otherwise healthy enough to receive vaccinations with minimal risk.
If your pet is ill or has a problem you would like to discuss with the Veterinarian, you are encouraged to set-up a General, Illness or Injury Examination appointment instead of coming to the PCC. If, during the course of a PCC examination, we discover your pet has medical problems or there are issues you wish to discuss, we will be happy to do so and will provide you with an estimate for the fees associated with that care.
The Fine Print:
Veterinary Preventative Care Clinics are provided for dogs and cats 12 months of age and older. We offer seperate lower cost packages for puppies and kittens as part of our routine schedule hours.

Walk-ins are welcome -- however Appointments are recommended as space (time) is limited and those with appointments will be taken as priority. Please call to register your pet ASAP.
All dogs must be on a leash and adequately controlled by owners - difficult or aggressive dogs, or highly rambunctious dogs which are not managed by the owner will turned away.
Cats must be in carriers or on a leash and adequately controlled by owners. Owners with highly fractious / unmanagable cats will be turned away.
To receive a 3 year Rabies vaccine - At the time of service, pet owners must provide proof of prior Rabies Vaccination. Legally acceptable documentation is either Rabies vaccine certificate or a Veterinarians Medical Record entry. To keep the fees for the PCC as low as possible, Our office must be very efficient and stay on schedule -- we can not call to verify prior vaccine status for your pet - it is your responsibility to obtain the documentation prior to the visit.
Payment is required at the time of service:
Our business accepts Cash, Credit Card (Visa / Mastercard), Debit Card and Checks verified via telecheck.
The Really Fine Print:
- We are providing these services, at these fees, during the scheduled Preventative Care Clinic times only.
- We have selected the PCC period because it is generally the least crowded day/time of the week for our practice. This is a time when we can 'afford' to provide these services to you at lower fees and not cause harm our business- we respectfully request you do not ask us to provide this offer at any other time.
-
- We reserve the right to discontinue the Preventative Care Clinic program at any time without advance notice.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any person or patient, at any time, for any reason.
